Pittsburgh, PA — As announced by UpPrize, October 2024, three tech startups won a combined $300,000 from this year’s UpPrize Social Innovation Challenge. With this prize, pathVu continues its work to ensure accessible pedestrian pathways with technology and services that meet standards for accessibility, infrastructure quality, and asset management, aiming for safe, complete access for all abilities. This year’s challenge centered around technologies and solutions that aim to tackle social equity and justice issues among the entrepreneurs and businesses in the tech community of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
